For Mamba it was her first show. She wasn't nervous at all, but tried to kiss the judges and slept peacefully between the rings. Mambita exhibits excellent show-temper and stress-resistance. In course of the show we've even managed to take part in professional photosession and give interview to TV (details, please, see here).

This was not only the first show of Mamba, but it was also the first show in Russia with participation of polydactyl female maine coon. The event was even enlightened by TV - Mamba gave interview to the Central TV channel (TVC). Such famous international judges as Svetlana Ponomareva (Russia), Kurt Vlach (Austia), Francine Hicks (USA) expressed their sound opinion on the matter of polydactyl maine coons participation in shows and breeding programmes.

Unfortunately, up to now polydactyl maine coons have no right to compete in the show ring and fight for titles and scores (except for in NZCF - from 2009 onwards). However, they are used in breeding and can be shown as home pets in many countries of the world, and now - in Russia also!
